Main Event opens up with Triple H making his way to the ring. Triple H says there is a lot of controversy in the WWE right now. He says a lot of people are asking why. He says people ask why he would strip Daniel Bryan of the title, and then he explains that he is unable to compete at Money In The Bank. He then says they also stripped him of the title because of the WWE Universe. He says they deserve better than Daniel Bryan. He says we deserve a champion that can defend the championship. He says 4 people have qualified for the Money In The Bank ladder match already, and then says 3 more men have the opportunity to qualify as well. Triple H says that there is more controversy, and then shows footage of Seth Rollins betraying the Shield. Triple H then introduces Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and shakes Triple H’s hand. Triple H says everyone knows why he did it, but now he wants to know how it felt. Rollins says thats an interesting question. He says before he swung and hit Reigns, he had a sense of clarity. He says that the feeling he had was a sense of power he had never felt before. He says its nothing Reigns or Ambrose will feel, because they owe everything they had to me. He says they are nothing without him and that them and the WWE Universe are built for mediocrity. He says they will never accomplish their dreams or goals. He says he has the guts, and that Triple H understands that power. Seth then says his goal is to be the very the best, and that he adapted. He says this is the evolution of Seth Rollins. Rollins then says he made his opportunity, but first wants to thank Triple H for giving him that chance.

Out comes Dolph Ziggler.Dolph says that he wants to be the first to congratulate him on being a self centered traitor. He says that he walks to the ring every night and has a chip on his shoulder to prove that he is the very best. Dolph then says that he is going to wipe Seths smug smile off his face, without an ego maniacal boss holding his hand every step of the way. He then says to Seth that he should sharpen his knife for tonight, because he is going to need it.

The Authority kick off Raw to address Daniel Bryan's status. Stephanie says that is has been long enough and they have no choice but to officially strip Daniel Bryan of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They air a video of Bryan's doctor saying he can't compete for a long time. Stephanie Mcmahon confirms that the MITB Ladder Match will be for the WWE World Title this year instead of the briefcase. HHH then goes on to the topic of The Shield as he says Rollins will break his silence tonight and it will be the last time we will ever see The Shield in a WWE Ring as Reigns & Ambrose will face The Wyatt Family in a 3 on 2 Handicap Match unless The Shield can find a partner for themselves.

3MB are out next for a promo. The Shield's Ambrose & Reigns interrupt them immediately. The Shield start the beatdown as they toss Mahal & Mcintyre over the barricades. Slater tries to escape but ends up being on the end of a spear on the ramp. The Shield cuts a promo on Seth Rollins & Evolution in the ring next. They say that sooner or later they will get their hands on them and when Rollins is done airing his grievances later tonight they will beat him down.

Michael Cole has his in-ring interview with Seth Rollins next. Rollins goes straight into it stating facts. He claims that he was always the leader of The Shield and it was his creation for 2 years to do this all. He and only him made the choice to turn on his partners. He says that to him, they were never brothers, just business partners. He said it was a hard decision to do and it took him a lot of guts but he did what he did and can't take it back. He then calls out The Shield for his so called beatdown. The Shield then come out and as soon as they enter the ring, The Wyatts are in the ring. They start attacking The Shield until John Cena comes out and makes the save and later tonight John Cena will join The Shield for the main event.

Big Show overpowers Orton in the early going, forcing Orton to retreat. Big Show doesn’t fall for Orton’s tricks but eventually gets taken down by Orton. Orton with stomps and knees. Chokehold from Orton. Dropkick from Orton right as Big Show was building momentum. Orton hits the elevated snap DDT on Big Show. Orton goes for an RKO but takes a spear. Big Show tries to chokeslam Orton and Triple H (who was interfering) but Rollins comes out and springboard knees Big Show in the face.

RKO to Big Show. Rollins beats down Big Show with a chair as the show ends.

Stephanie Mcmahon is out next to discuss the events at Payback. She said that in 4 weeks at the MITB Pay Per View, if Bryan can compete he will face Kane in a Stretcher Match, and if can't compete.. for the first time ever, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will replace the MITB Briefcase. John Cena then comes out next as Steph congratulates Cena on a hard fought win last night against Bray Wyatt. Cena then says that it's time to end the whole Authority conspiracy against Daniel Bryan. Cena says that everyone goes through surgeries and everyone comes back stronger and is still championship material. Cena said if he was Stephanie's boss and if he was giving her a personal job evaluation he would give her a 0 on a 1-10 scale. Steph says that she doesn't care what he or the WWE Universe thinks and puts Cena in a match against Kane next.

[After the Match, Kane started attacking Cena. Before Kane could hit a tombstone on Cena on the steel steps, Cena countered and threw the steel steps in Kane's face thus escaping the demon]

As Rollins somewhat slowly backs up, he then bashes the chair on Reigns back as Ambrose looks on in shock. Ambrose then goes to attack Rollins as Seth then attacks Dean. Rollins continues the beatdown on The Shield as Evolution looks on in happiness. Rollins then hits Peace of Mind on Reigns onto the chair. Evolution then poses with Rollins to end the show as The Shield has broken up.(Rollings become a traitor to the shield)
